1957_Rambler_Rebel

So far in this series on cars we’ve looked at the top ranked Hybrids and the years most affordable cars and today we’re coming to take a look  at my personal favorite category… muscle cars and the worlds fastest cars.

Oh…about the image to your left, It’s a 1957 Rambler Rebel 4-door hardtop…and yes, in 1957 it was billed as a muscle car and was built by AMC (American Motors Corporation)

My best friends mom had one these and I don’t think she ever drove over 50 miles an hour if that. I’m not sure how fast it would go but I’m sure the manufacturers of the cars below aren’t going to worry about beating any of these best times.

So without further ado let the countdown begin:

#10 Porsche Carrera GT (205 miles per hour)

#9  Lamborghini Murcielago (211 miles per hour)

#8  Pagani Zonda F (215 miles per hour)

#7  Jaguar XJ220 (217 miles per hour)

#6  Ferrari Enzo (217 miles per hour)

#5  McLaren F1 (240 miles per hour)

#4  Koenigsegg CCX (245 miles per hour)

#3  Saleen S7 Twin Turbo (248 miles per hour)

#2  Bugatti Veyron (253 miles per hour)

#1  SSC Ultimate Areo (257 miles per hour)

So whata think? Which one is your favorite? Does your best friends mom own one of these?
