When it comes to sushi, Fort Collins locals have a fair selection of restaurants to choose from. Suh (pronounced “Soo”) is one of the city’s newest additions to the sushi scene.
Located at 200 W. Prospect (Just off College by the train tracks), Suh is a cozy place. What it lacks in space, it makes up for in quality of food and service. When you walk in, you are greeted by a smile and a kind “hello” by the sushi chefs behind the bar. There is a limited selection of seating, but at least that means the server doesn’t have to walk as far, meaning less of a wait for you!
When comparing Suh to other local sushi restaurants, you cannot beat its 3 rolls for $10.95 lunch/take-out special. The menu is quite large, and the selection is great. If you are still undecided on whether or not you are a fan of sushi, the chicken teriyaki roll is a safe bet. As for the adventurous sushi explorer, try anything and everything. The service is fast, and the sushi is fresh. The rolls are drizzled with a sauce that just cannot be beat. As for dessert, the “Mochi balls” (comparable to frozen ice cream) are an interesting and tasty way to finish.
Many people crave different tastes and experiences when it comes to sushi, and there is not one single sushi restaurant that will satisfy everyone. However, Suh is a great taste and a great value, so if you find yourself in the neighborhood with a craving for sushi, stop into this little hidden treasure, and you will not be disappointed.
