In Munich, Germany Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year during late September and running into early October.
In Fort Collins we only have one day to celebrate this Bavarian cultural event so you don’t want to miss any of it.
This years event is hosted by Downtown Fort Collins and the Downtown Business Association and will be held at the Civic Center Park (located at Laporte Ave & Howes St) on Saturday, September 26th from 11:00am to 6:00pm and is free to the public.
The day will be filled with lederhosen, pretzels, polka and great Colorado beers, live German entertainment all day long including Schuhplattler dancing and great polka bands!
Eat authentic bratwurst, dumplings, strudel, drink the best brews, experience hands on kids activities, learn a little about German history in Colorado, and sing Ein Prosit with your comrades!
It’s Oktoberfest time!
