FortCollinsMuseumDiscoveryScienceCenter

I just ran across a blog post in The Fort Collins Museum & Discovery Science Center Blog dated Nov. 19th 2009 where they are asking for help in naming the soon to be built museum that will house exhibits from a partnership of two leading Fort Collins institutions: Discovery Science Center, and the Fort Collins Museum. This partnership to build a new museum was entered into, in order to combine hands-on science and the culture and history of our region.

As of this writing there are some good choices, however all of them have come from only 4 people in the community.

Here’s an excerpt from that blog post:

“So we want to ask you to help us do some of the work to make this new museum a reality. Specifically, we’d like your thoughts on what we should call ourselves.”

Surely you want to help and perhaps the only reason for such a small representation from the community to date is due in part to not knowing of the opportunity.

With that in mind I’m posting a link to the post in the Fort Collins Museum & Discovery Science Center Blog in hopes of a better turn out.
