The National Trust for Historic Preservation has named Fort Collins as one of the “Dozen Distinctive Destinations of 2010″. This is of course quite the honor for a city that takes pride in it’s heritage and unique historic character.

Each of the cities that up the Distinctive Dozen were selected because of their dynamic downtown areas with many diverse cultural activities and attractions with appealing architecture and a strong commitment to historic preservation and lasting sustainability. Does sound like Fort Collins doesn’t it?
