The owners and cooks are from Nebraska. That might normally be okay, if they followed any real Greek recipes, but they don't; they make up their own. The worst thing noted at the Athens Cafe is that they substitute pork for their lamb. They use 1 or two pieces of lamb on the Kabobs and fill the rest with pork! I caught the cooks and waitress discussing this "trick" and she said that it saves them $2 per lamb meal ordered. Problem with that? It's dishonest, and potentially illegal.
